Third + Bird Christmas Market
If you're into shopping with local, small businesses for artisan gifts, be sure to pay a visit to the Third + Bird Christmas Market at Red River Exhibition Place from November 18th to 20th. Third + Bird is Winnipeg's largest urban market and hosts curated markets and events. Expect great vendors, a DJ, a food truck and the option to sip while you shop.
Downtown Winnipeg Christmas Farmers Market
If you're hosting a holiday meal or party, consider doing your grocery shopping at the Downtown Winnipeg Christmas Farmers Market! It's indoors and open November 3rd and 17th and December 1st and 15th at Cityplace. Expect plenty of fresh and local vegetables, baked goods, preserves, meat and other food items. You can also shop for artisan gifts like jewellery and crafts here.
Signatures Handmade Market
If you want to give some truly special gifts this year, be sure to visit Signatures Handmade Market at RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg! Running from November 24th to 27th, Signatures Winnipeg is a Canadian handmade marketplace that features the wares of artists, artisans, makers, and designers from coast-to-coast.
German Christmas markets are the gold standard of holiday season markets. Luckily for Winnipegers, Winnipeg's own Christkindlmarkt is back at the Mall of Fort Garry Place in 2022. It's been running since 1985 and will be open from November 25th to 27th. Expect decadent German chocolates, classic "Stollen", mulled wine, and other German delicacies. There'll be live entertainment all weekend and the event will feature over 60 tables where Manitoba crafters and vendors will sell gifts.
We hope you'll pay a visit to these Winnipeg holiday markets this year. Happy holidays!
